Refund Policy
We stand behind every transaction we facilitate. Here's how to request a refund, how it will be issued, and how long it takes to process.
Last updated 13 August 2026
Our Commitment
Smile Solar Energy Group (“we”, “us”) is committed to the highest standards in both our products and the customer experience. We take pride in helping every client find the solar solution best suited to their needs, and we stand behind every transaction we facilitate.
How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund through any of the following channels:
- Email the Smile Solar Energy Group consultant who provided your original quote, or contact us at info@smilesolar.com.au.
- Call our customer support team on 1300 301 908.
- Send a written request addressed to the “Refunds Officer” at: Smile Solar Energy Group, Suite 1111, 10-12 Flushcombe Rd, Blacktown NSW 2148.
How Refunds Are Issued
- Payments made by credit card will be refunded in full to the same card used for the original transaction.
- Payments made by EFT, BPAY, cash, cheque, or money order will be refunded in full by EFT to a bank account you nominate.
- If a deposit was paid by credit card and more than 12 months have passed since that payment, the refund will instead be paid by EFT to a bank account of your choosing.
Refund Processing Time
We aim to process approved refunds within one business day of receiving a complete request. In some circumstances processing may take longer, for example if the original credit card has been reported lost or the transaction is declined by the payment platform, or if the refund must be processed manually through the Westpac Merchant Helpdesk, which can take approximately 10 working days.
Policy Review
This Refund Policy is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure it continues to reflect our current practices and obligations.
