Consumer Information

Before agreeing to a quotation, you should understand what is included, what is not, and what conditions apply. As a minimum, your written quotation should set out:

• The system size and the exact equipment models proposed
• The total price, and what it includes
• Any government incentives applied, and the conditions attached to them
• The warranty terms that apply
• The expected installation timeframe, and what it depends on

For residential contracts, NSW Government guidance sets a maximum deposit for building work above certain contract values. We follow this guidance in our own deposit requirements, and any deposit amount will always be set out clearly in your quotation before you agree to it.

For residential building work above the threshold set by NSW law, Home Building Compensation (HBC) cover requirements apply before certain payments can be requested. Where this applies to your job, we will explain what it means for you.

Obtaining necessary permits and approvals for your installation — including council approvals where applicable, and strata title consent where relevant — is the customer's responsibility. Where included in your agreement, we coordinate the applicable grid connection or notification process with your electricity distributor on your behalf.

Our products and services come with consumer guarantee rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under the Australian Consumer Law. These rights exist in addition to, and are not replaced by, any manufacturer or workmanship warranty we provide.
